Listening Activities for Pre-K & Kindergarten

In Pre-K and Kindergarten we are consistently working on listening and following directions from the first day of school until we say goodbye at the end of the year.

This pack of listening activities for step-by-step directions is perfect for strengthening these skills all year long!

For each

What’s Included?

My favorite part of this resource pack is that it includes fun themed activities for the whole year. That means you will have listening activities for every season!

Inside are 10 “Follow Along Fun” printables and 10 corresponding teacher direction printables:

The direction printables are separate from the student printables, making this pack perfect for early learners. There are less distractions and no reading is required!

The teacher direction printables have 10 simple directions for your students to follow.

How to Use this “Follow Along Fun” Activity

Use these simple and engaging printables as a whole class activity or use them in small groups with students that may need a little extra practice with following directions.

They are also wonderful for substitute plans!

You can decide to use as many or as few of the oral directions given. Change them up to best fit your class, depending on what your students can handle or need.

Students will also strengthen fine motor skills as they do their best drawing and coloring.

These printables are low-prep (just print and go!), engaging, and provide meaningful practice for so many skills!

Students will work on recognizing and understanding comparing and positional words such as biggest, smallest, larger, smaller, next to, between, etc.

Plus, these printables strengthen counting skills as your kids draw or color a certain amount of items and fine motor skills as they do their best coloring!
